Crush of the Month

Like every other month so far, this month's crush was a tough one. However, this guy was extremely adorable when he was on Ellen earlier this month.
So here he is December's Crush of the Month is...

Glee's Cory Monteith! He plays the adorkable (and clueless) Finn Hudson. I always thought he was cute since the first episode, but when I saw him on Ellen this month, he was even cuter. I loved how he was all smiley when he talked about how he's dating Lea Michele (Rachel on Glee) & that he didn't want to hide it.

Clipboard Art

I got bored yesterday and started messing around with an old clipboard and this was the result. I used chalkboard paper that we bought and never used. I wrote one of my favorite quotes, "You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water." My color scheme was red & blue and I tried to make it vintagey with the bingo card, the lace & the coca-cola girl. I didn't really care for it when I started, but the more I look at it the more I like it.

Top Ten Christmas Movies

Merry Christmas Everyone! I thought since it is Christmas Eve, it would be appropriate to share my favorite Christmas movies. There are a lot of great Christmas movies, but my top ones would be:

10. The Nightmare Before Christmas

Some say it's a Halloween movie, some say it's a Christmas movie & some say it's both. I love this movie whether it's Halloween or Christmas. Favorite Scene: Jack singing "What's This?"

9. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

With Chevy Chase you can't really do wrong. The tagline says it all, "Yule Crack Up!"
 8. Jingle All the Way

I'm usually not much of a Schwarzenegger fan, but I sure do love this movie."It's Turbo time!"
 7. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I've always loved Jim Carrey ever since Dumb & Dumber and this is definitely one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies.

 6. The Santa Clause

Tim Allen plays the perfect Santa Clause; and he's probably my favorite Santa.

 5. A Charlie Brown Christmas

Just like Chevy Chase, you can't go wrong with a Peanuts movie. From the tree Charlie Brown picked out to the odd dancing of the Peanuts characters to Linus's speech about the true meaning of Christmas, this movie is a must-see movie for every Christmas.
 4. It's a Wonderful Life

I was surprised when I recently learned this movie was a box office bomb. It's such a classic movie that it doesn't seem possible. "Every time a bell rings an angel gets it wings."

 3. Elf

I remember when I saw this movie in theaters I thought it was the stupidest movie I have ever seen. Then when it came out on DVD, and for some reason I decided to watch it again, it was hilarious. I don't know what I was thinking when I thought it was stupid. "SANTA!!! I know him."
 2. Home Alone

No wonder this movie was good, John Hughes was involved and I love him. Macaulay Culkin was the cutest kid ever. Everything he did or said was either funny, cute or both. "Keep the Change, you filthy animal."
 1. A Christmas Story

There is not one single flaw in this movie, everything about it was great! There are several memorable moments in this movie such as: Ralphie's pink bunny suit, "I triple dog dare you," the leg lamp & of course the best Christmas quote, "You'll shoot your eye out."

Don't Let Other People Dull Your Sparkle

So I finally stopped procrastinating and made my friend Danielle's birthday present. Her birthday was in November and I barely made her anything. Well I think it was worth the wait otherwise I wouldn't have made her this:

A cardboard shaped heart with glitter, buttons, lace, brads & one of my favorite quotes, "Don't let others dull your sparkle."

So I hope this gift's prettiness makes up for the fact that it's way overdue.

Glow Baby Glow

I found a DIY on making glow jars. It would probably look cooler if it was all blue to make it look more like stars, but I still like it. It was simple all I had to do was cut the end of a glow stick and shake all the liquid into the jar.
