Round & Round We Go

This is my latest scrapbooking page. These photos are from July when Vern and I went to Santa Cruz for my brother's company picnic. The top photo is our view from the Ferris Wheel and the bottom photo is our feet (I'm on the left). I used an empty alphabet sticker sheet and peeled it off and inked them as the background. I have seen this technique on other pages, but I've never tried it before. I gotta say that I love it! The only problem was the sticker I had was really sticky and was a little difficult to get it off the paper.
I also used:
-Round & Round We Go rub ons
-Ferris Wheel stamp
-Arrows (which I inked in a red-orange)
-White pen to write when and where
-White paper to matte pictures
-Glimmermist in Pearl (it's hard to see in the picture)

Friday Favorites

I know it's been awhile since I've done a Friday Favorites, but now they are back!

This is me! Haha I can't sing or dance and I am part black.

Where can I buy this sweater?

I recently saw The Muppets movie and I liked it. It was cute and I love Jason Segel.

Has anyone seen We Bought a Zoo? That's where I heard this quote and I absolutely love it! However, I haven't used this advice even though I had so many chances to. Oh well, maybe someday it'll come in handy.

I just love how Joey pushes Monica to get to Chandler. I've always loved Joey & Chandler's friendship.

The best kind of rock!

Holden Caulfield pretty much thinks everyone's a phony. He's probably right.

I want this pig! Look how adorable he/she is!

Crush of the Month

This month's Crush of the Month goes to...

Henry Cavill! I finally got around to watching Man of Steel early August and I gotta say it was my favorite Superman movie [mostly because I haven't seen any Superman movies]. The main reason it was so great was Superman himself. How can you not like a movie with a good looking guy like this being all heroic?

My Week in Photos

I can't believe it's already September! This year is going by so fast. Before you know it it'll be Christmas. Here's a look of my first week of September.

Gracie has this toy tiger tail [what a great alliteration] and one day I was messing with her by putting the tail in her collar. Apparently she wasn't in the mood to play because she left it on top of her head.
My dad and I started having a Cheers marathon. We started from the pilot episode and we're about halfway finished with season 1.
This a tweet talking about the SF Giants game on Wednesday. Pablo Sandoval hit 3 home runs in one game [just like he did in game 1 of the World Series last year].
Netflix just added Men in Black and I knew I had to watch it as soon as possible. MIB was my favorite movie when I was little. I even had a Men in Black wallet.
Today was the first official SF 49er game of the season. Football season started earlier this week, but the niners didn't play until today. Plus we won against the GB Packers! [34-28]
Today was also my grandma's birthday. We had dinner at my aunt Yaya's house.

Crush of the Month

For this Crush of the Month I don't really know how it happened. I thought he was pretty cute at first, but nothing special. Then out of nowhere I started really really liking him. In one day he made it to my top 10 celebrity crushes [number 7]. So here he is July's Crush of the Month is...

Dave Franco! Most people know him as James Franco's little brother. The first time I saw him was on Scrubs. He played an intern in season 9. I thought he was pretty cute, but I didn't think much of him. Then I saw him again in 21 Jump Street and he was hilarious and even cuter. I saw him in a few other movies after that such as Charlie St. Cloud, Fright Night, and Now You See Me
